Hi, I once wrote a little php script, it was created in order to log every access to that image, but i think it could work for you. I can't find the script anymore, but it works like this: In the html file (let's call it "idontwantyoutoreadmysource.html"), instead of the <IMG SRC="various.jpg"> you write <IMG SRC="image.php3"> . The image.php3 file is only a script that control the HTTP_REFERER and it returns the various.jpg only if the HTTP_REFERER it's equal to idontwantyoutoreadmysource.html If i find the source code somewhere i'll post it. hello, if i have some images in say /img/various.jpgs. how can i stop someone from putting www.site.com/img/various.jpgs into their browser and seeing the images, yet at the same time use /img/various.jpgs as valid img srcs= within my pages? realms? permissions? most likely something in apache eh? thx a lot - eric -- PHP General Mailing List (http://www.php.net/) To unsubscribe, e-mail: php-general-unsubscribe@lists.php.net For additional commands, e-mail: php-general-help@lists.php.net To contact the list administrators, e-mail: php-list-admin@lists.php.net
