Put the connection instructions in a separate include file, then call it from your main php source page....
e.g.
<?php
include("connect.inc")
(the rest of your code)
?>
read the include() section of the php manual for the details.

In the PHP page I have the connection information (host, username, >password). Unfortunately, this information is easily read by anyone who views the source of my PHP page. How can I make the connection to the MySQL database in some other page or otherwise not expose the connection information?_________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.
