Hi gang, Any ideas how I can send SMS's out via my PHP scripts? I promise I won't be doing anything naughty! I just need to send myself SMS's occasionally when users enter certain information into my forms. There is no such thing as a free beer. While you may be able to make use of the ICQ service it's a bit of a messy using it with in PHP. There are several organizations that provide web access to their SMSC. In effect you post your message to a url provided by them and they send it through their SMSC to the intended reciepient.

The cheapest way i know of sending SMS though is simply to plug in a GSM modem (that means most modern GSM phones) into the machine and send through that.
