Varchar problem in Oracle8 with php

Hi All, I am trying to retrive a bunch of rows from oracle8.1.0 db running on remote NT server, thro php, it is returning number fields correctly but is not showing any char or varchar fields.... I checked the variable in which I am assigning this column value, but it not null at all. Even I tried the same with Oracle 7.x running on Remote NT Server, and is giving all the correct results for Number as well as char and varchar.... can any one of you guess the problem whether its php support problem with 8.0 and 7.x or else... pl help My configuration is as follows Red hat 6.2 Linux, PHP 4.0.2 with Oracle 8.0.5 client installed Remote Oracle Server 8.1 ie 8i Apache 1.3.12 Thanks in advance Ajay Intec GmbH, Munich, Germany
