Could you resend the example. You attached it and I think the mailing list

I've noticed the new mcrypt functions in the manual and I just linked PHP
4.0.3 with Mcrypt 2.4.* and can't seem to get the right combination of
anything to work. It's all pretty confusing and the manual doesn't help
much. Does anyone have a working example?
