Number of session records for 1 particular session

I store my session data in a mysql database. Does
it matter how many records I have for a particular
session? So long as I don't have the session field
as primary key? Also, does it matter as to how I
structure the table? Could I have more than just
the fields for the session key, expire date and value?
Will the internal session functions get confused if
I do?
