Query help needed

HI, This is the table i am having. Forget about category, city and email. Check name and parant fields... Name Category Parant City Email AgentGSAMumbai Agent gsaMumbai Mumbai agentgsamumbai@kq.com AgentGSAPune Agent GSAPune Pune agentgsapune.mumbai@kq.com GSAIreland GSA London Ireland ireland.london@kq.com GSALondon GSA London London gsalondon.london@kq.com GSAPune GSA Mumbai Pune pune.mumbai@kq.com gsaMumbai GSA Mumbai Mumbai gsamumbai.mumbai@kqs.com London Station kq London london@kqs.com Mumbai Station kq Mumbai mumbai@kqs.com But when i give the following query this returns no rows...... mysql> Select name from register where parant in ('Select name from register where parant = mysql> "Mumbai"') ; Empty set (0.00 sec) The expected rows are: AgentGSAMumbai AgentGSAPune I tried with all the combinations of '(Single quote) "(Double quote).
