Instead of dropping the file into a directory on the web, can I prompt
the
user for download perhaps...?
so instead of:
OUTFILE '/www/Export/DataSet3.csv'
maybe:
OUTFILE ''...?
[/snip]
INTO OUTFILE is stricly a database function and will not return results
to the browser. However you could, with the proper headers, output the
file as a CSV to the browser. The user can then save and open in
whatever software that they would like to.
