that should only work if you have control over apache (or the webserver) and
can force it to open index.php instead of index.html.
in most cases you will have that chance, but not if you are doomed to be
hosted
by stupid ISPs by your customer/employer
otherwise the dirty META_REFRESH is your only chance
(as far as i know...)
