Thanks for the info.
I use PHP3 and PostgeSQL and Linux Redhat server.
My understanding is that the way you read in data from the database would
remain the same. Therefore in terms changing to using ODBC later in the
future you could simply change the part that connects to the database to the
ODBC method and the rest would remain the same (e.i. the part where the
results from the queries are assigned to variables etc.).
