Definitely Works Fine on our Ultra's and Enterprise E250/450s (even ok on my
home solaris 8 x86) with Oracle 8.1.5 8.1.6 and currently 8.1.7 with PHP
4.0.1pl2 and 4.0.2.
I'd check the root history log aswell [ you never know whos been playing
;-) ]
My guess would be someone tried to restart apache when they didn't have the
correct paths set (LD_LIBRARY_PATH and PATH)
