Paradoxically enough, after Zend hired me pretty much as a direct result of those 40 posts a day, I don't have time any more to keep up-to-date :-) Part of this is the 56K limitation of my home setup. I'm sure the DSL I ordered in April, and then canceled in August from sheer rage at their inability to deliver, that then showed up in September (3 weeks after I cancel a guy's on my doorstep with a router) will come through, or the second one I ordered in August will come through. If not, the cable folks just called me the other day and now have static IPs to give out... I was holding out for static IP so I could run some small sites from home instead of shelling out $$$ for a server that's not quite like what I want... Maybe I'll keep both DSLs and cross-wire them to increase availability... Anyway, I'm hoping things will settle down after ApacheCon in November, and I'll be able to devote the usual hour or two a day to the list. Meanwhile, I know others are answering questions just as well as I could anyway. Thanks for thinking of me. I am alive and well (very well, actually) working for Zend, which pretty much "rocks", as you might imagine. PS: Speaking of "rock", anybody wanna buy/distribute/market some music CDs? I'm a successful small record label now, too :-) Give a listen to Ellen Rosner at CDBaby.com (all PHP4 site) http://www.CDBaby.com/rosner If you're into, say, Poi Dog Pondering, that's their horn section you are hearing. Or, if you'd like something like a cross between Ani DiFranco and Rosanne Cash with a great horn section... That's pretty much how it's been described by the critics. WXRT Top 5, so you know it doesn't suck :-) PPS You can also just listen on http://www.mp3.com/ellenrosner and then she gets a nickel. (It's actually way more complex a formula than that, but it's about how it works out.) Whooo Hooooo! Rolling in the dough now! > -----Original Message----- > From: Joao Prado Maia [mailto:jpm@kefta.com] > Sent: Tuesday, October 10, 2000 1:59 AM > To: Daniel Convissor > Cc: PHP List > Subject: Re: [PHP] Where is Richard Lynch ? > > > > On Mon, 9 Oct 2000, Daniel Convissor wrote: > > > Hey Joao: > > > > > I kinda miss those 40 e-mails coming at once late in the night. > > > > Believe he's working for Zend.
