Yeah, right.
We already have weekly threads on:
(1) which ISP is best for PHP (sometimes with the twist that it be a
"free" ISP);
(2) which database is best for PHP;
(3) which book is best for PHP;
(4) which server is best for PHP;
(5) how to configure a server for PHP;
(6) whether to use PHP or ASP or ColdFusion.
Now I can see where this is going, we can add weekly debates on:
(1) which OS is best for PHP;
(2) which distribution of which OS is best for PHP;
(3) which version of which distribution is best for PHP;
(4) which compiler is best for PHP;
(5) which coffee is the best to drink before programming in PHP
OK, I guess I am just frustrated that the only thing I care about is
*programming in PHP* and that is about < 5% of the extraordinarily high
traffic on the list. Guess I should just unsubscribe instead of
complaining. I just wish there were a PHP programming mailing list,
maybe something with 10-20 e-mails a day instead of 200.
Ciao,
Andreas
