I need to regularly poll a remote site an retrieve files with https.I'm not sure if you can get files by running this: fopen("https://domain.com/file.tar.gz");
But you can certainly use this : exec("/path/to/lynx https://domain.com/file.tar.gz");unfortunately the URL is to long for lynx :(
Or even exec("/path/to/wget https://domain.com/file.tar.gz");We could not get wget to do https !! do we need a differnet version?
