PHP 4.0.3 includes support for BSD make - I just did a successful build of
4.0.3 (Release Candidate 2) this morning. The final release of 4.0.3 (just
released this afternoon should work for you :) The only little change that
I had to make as adding LDFLAGS='ldl' to my arguments for make.
