I have a very nice Windows IDE called UltraEdit32 which does syntax
highlighting. I don't know if it comes with support for PHP syntax, but
it's easy enough to add (I can tell you how to add it if you want) I
don't know the URL though, but it shouldn't be too hard to find.
Under Unix, I just use vim, which does syntax highlighting as well :-)
