There was a PHP expression builder for Homesite to compliment the syntax
hightlighting. Check the archives. I'm actually trying out CodeCommander
(http://codecommander.sourceforge.net) a the mo. Doesn't seem to shabby
and I can parse the code for errors internally if I map the CGI as a
runtime doo-dad.
