Does it get truncated befor or after it goes into the DB?
I'm guessing the data is being put into a Textarea then submitted to your
script? It might be a limitation on the Textarea if this is the case, but 4000
chars seems pretty low.
I've got a system in place on my website where I can edit all the pages via an
HTML form and enter them into the database, and alot of them are over 4000
chars so I don't think this is a PHP problem per-se its probably more of an
HTML or browser problem...
Anyway, thats my $0.02
