no. this is definitely no problem of php or html.
i know nothing about M$-SQL, but i use oracle and there the problem occours
if you try to get 4000+ characters by a simple SELECT and echo. in oracle
u need to use OCIbindbyname. that has something to do with oracle handling
it's own api. MAYBE M$ tried to be as close to oracle as possible for
compatibility reasons......
