To change php3/php.ini and make the changes take effect, you must restart not
the box, but just apache. Depending on what version of apache you are running
the command is /usr/sbin/apachectl stop to stop the server, and then
/usr/sbin/apachectl start to start it again. (version 1.3.6 and up, I think)
Easy way to find it:
at the command prompt type in locate "*/bin/apachectl"and
that will be the apache control file
