Couple thoughts to try:
exec("c:\\FullPathInfo...\\wscript.exe c:\\bat\\scriptname.vbs");
exec("c:\\FullPathInfo...\\scriptname.vbs");
If that doesn't fly, try system() instead, since it displays stuff as it goes
along. If that too is a dud, next step would be making a small test script,
like a hello world and seeing if that works.
