You can, but if you're not already using them, it can be a performance
hit, though how much of one varies.
For track_vars in PHP 3, you turn it on by inserting the following
line at the very beginning of your script:
<?php_track_vars?>
Note that it must be exactly what I've written there--you cannot use
this tag to open a PHP code block. Meaning it must be <?php, followed
immediately by php_track_vars, followed immediately by ?>.
But that'll do it.
Totally unrelated, but may I ask why on earth you're using 3.0.9?
