sessions??? cookies???

hi guys, i need your help regarding sessions & cookies in an online test proj included with a timer.it executes fine for a single user.but i would like to use the same for multiple users using sessions and cookies. iam a novice for both. and have visited a couple of sites like zend.com etc for help but in vain. i could get exact info what i was looking for. rather i dint understand the exact usage of the same. i have two tables in my proj: table 1:qno,question,a,b,c,d,ans table 2:qno,ans i use table 2 for inserting correct answers selected from among the choices(a/b/c/d) by the user by comparing them with the table 1 ans. once i display their result either after the test is finished by the user or timer expires,i delete the contents from the table 2 for further use of the test by 2nd user.well,temperorily i did that. but now, what are the fields i have to add in my tables for using sessions. please provide me a detailed example.if possible. else a site with a to z examples of usage of sessions. i highly appreciate your help thanks in advance. kapil kkb@onebox.com __________________________________________________ FREE voicemail, email, and fax...all in one place.
