RE: [PHP] PHP News Site

Your site is OK - It's simple, fast, easy to navigate. I guess you need some more content on it, not only searchable directories, some articles and some other info that you think the high average of your visitors would like to read, refer their friends and come back for. I also think the design should be a little, I mean just a little more modern, not too black, some natural, "alive" colors. More interactivity would be nice too. Well, I guess it's just the beginning of your business so everything else is still ahead of you. Nice site dude, Cheers! -----Original Message----- From: Stephen Logan [mailto:slogan@stephenlogan.com] Sent: Tuesday, October 17, 2000 5:39 AM To: php-general@lists.php.net Subject: [PHP] PHP News Site I just wanted to let the php community know about a site I did entirely in PHP. It's using moreover's web feed. PHP and mysql made it easy to create an interface that organized all of the news categories and provided an easy method to search through the news headlines. The site is at http://www.newsheads.com if anyone is interested. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! -- S t e p h e n L o g a n | http://NewsHeads.com slogan@stephenlogan.com | http://www.LMETA.com -- PHP General Mailing List (http://www.php.net/) To unsubscribe, e-mail: php-general-unsubscribe@lists.php.net For additional commands, e-mail: php-general-help@lists.php.net To contact the list administrators, e-mail: php-list-admin@lists.php.net
