change the PHP.ini settings...
but, why don't you do something to the script itself? would work better..

I have a mailing list that will only be used once a month or so, and I
run into the problem that the script will only send what it can in the
default 30 seconds, then terminate....
is there a way to escape the script time limit.... with out setting it
higher manualy?
