then you must really mean it...
sleep() will do the job for you.
sleep(1) would freeze the script for 1 second.
but be careful in a loop of 300 it would be 300 seconds ... see my point?
use in this case usleep() where you can stop the script for a certain amount
of milliseconds.

thats what I want to do.... I want to put a piece of code in that will
extend the time without changeing the global..... but what would you
suggest?
