Nope, you're wrong.. it's $HTTP_REFERER, however what he asked was 'current url' and not 'previous url' so I guess that $HTTP_HOST.$SCRIPT_NAME is exactly the current URL, or $HTTP_HOST.$REQUEST_URI if you want variables too...
