Akk, I made a mistake, forever embedded in the mailing archives.
Urgg. Mondays (thats my excuse, anyhow).
Could also be the starbucks that opened downstairs as well, my typing is
getting erratic. as is my heartbeat. too much coffee? naaah.
Still checking php_info(); for the variables is also a good recommended tip.
The manual also lists:
The $HTTP_REFERER variable is not always set properly by all browsers, so
beware if you're writing an application that depends on this! For example,
the @home browser erroneously sends garbage when there is no referer. Also,
my AOL customers tend to have problems with the referer, depending on which
version of AOL you're running. So, if you want to protect your site (or
content) by allowing only "registered" links to you, don't depend
on the HTTP_REFERER !
Cheers,
Lawrence

Probably because you spelt it wrong ;)
not HTTP_REFERER
^
would work as...
echo "http referrer: " . $HTTP_REFERRER;
Why not do a <? phpinfo(); ?>
then look through the fields for the spelling of the vars.
cheers,
Loz.

Hi,
I have a tiny anoying problem. I can't get the current URL. I've tried :
- get_env(HTTP_REFERER) & get_env($HTTP_REFERER)
- javascript:history.back(0)
- putting '#' in AHREF
none of these try-outs worked...
Can you help me??
