I've noticed a problem working with images in general, Lemme just say that
I'm running Win2k Prof. using IIS5, and php runs great except when I work
with images. It slowly eats up my memory without freeing it up after using
imagedestroy($im) like it's supposed to. Is this happening to anyone else?
Is this maybe a specific bug in Win2k? I'd like to hear what other people's
experiences with this problem on same/diff platforms, what kinda workaround
exists, if any?
Thanks in advance,

ps. also, on a side note, everytime I try to use system() or exec(), for
instance
system('dir c:\\');
I receive:
Warning: Unable to fork [dir c:\] in c:\inetpub\wwwroot\test.php on line 5
I'm logged in as an administrator to the system, the script is running under
an administrative account, not the normal IUSR_DOMAIN account used for the
average webbrowser. I get this regardless of the owner of the
script/permissions. Is it maybe because i'm using IIS? Is there a workaround
for this as well?
