I'm usually on the answering end - but now I'm the one asking ;O)
I know in C/C++ you can designate a function to run if a program gets killed
on some way or another (for cleanup reasons). Is there a way to do this with
a shell PHP script?
Here's the scenario - I have a script that sends out some 900K emails (large
targeted mailing list for work) and if the server, or any point between that
and my workstation goes down, I need to have it update something somewhere so
I know what record to start on to resume sending the emails.
Any ideas?
