Does anyone have experience using the GD image functions to resize a lot of
pictures at once for a page. I'm looking into using it for a site I'm going
to build. A page will have maybe 50 entries pulled out of a database at
time each with a image associated that is probably a 150K Gif on average.
I'm wanting to use PHP to dynamically make thumbnails for each images and
send them to the browser on this page. The problem is right now I just
don't know what kind of load that will put on the server and how fast it
will be.
