Using PHP4.
I want to append to the default "include_path" that my ISP has set up in
their default php.ini. I'm told this is acheivable by creating an Apache
local override file ".htaccess" with the settings in I want to override.
I've checked teh PHP manula on-line (see bottom of message) but can't seem
to get the syntax right - I'm assuming thats what the problem is because if
I use my ".htaccess" file I get an Apache error, if I don't the page in
qustion appears fine.
Does anyone have example syntax (or a clear explanation) of what "php_value
name value" means?
Does is mean:
php_value include_path /path/inc
or php_value include_path "/path/inc"
or include_path /path/inc ....
Help appreciated.
Thanks
When using PHP as an Apache module, you can also change the configuration
settings using directives in Apache configuration files and .htaccess files.
With PHP 3.0, there are Apache directives that correspond to each
configuration setting in the php3.ini name, except the name is prefixed by
"php3_".
With PHP 4.0, there are just a few Apache directives that allow you to
change the PHP configuration settings.
php_value name value
This sets the value of the specified variable.
php_flag name on|off
This is used to set a Boolean configuration option.
