Funny we had the same problem at school.
We didn't know how to do it in javascript and we were running out of time, so
two groups can up with the same solution...
We placed submit buttons at every select menu.
So you could click on submit buttons with the name "step1" and "step2" or
"go" or something else...
and then check in the source for:
if ($step1)
{
}
if ($step2)
{
}
But then you have to refill the first menu... and show the user what he selected at the first
step...
( But i dont know how to do that with html... ? (a blue select bar?) )
