Re: "blackboxing" my global functions

Change permissions on the PHP files so that they are only accessible by the web server. If you're in NT, I'm sure you can use access control lists to do this. If you're in Unix, then it's simple. If your web server is running as user 'nobody', group 'nobody', then make 'nobody' the owner of all the PHP files, and change permissions so that only 'nobody' can read and write them.
