in php3, you have to define the function before you use it. in php4, you
don't have to, but, since i prefer c <g>, i still define my functions ahead
of time...
<?php
function john($name)
{
print("Your name is $name");
}
$blah = "john";
$name = $blah;
john($name);
?>
