REMOTE_ADDR works, but the page must be accessed via LOCAL network, not internet.. REMOTE_ADDR is what the server knows about who to send the page to.. therefore going through the net won't give you the local ip Cheers! -----Original Message----- From: eGuru [mailto:tabarry@email.com] Sent: Friday, October 27, 2000 3:35 PM To: php-general@lists.php.net Subject: [PHP] Variable problem Is there a way to get local machines address.
