If you want me to access your site at www.whatever.com from my current PC
which is on local area network you will see my DNS as IP and NOT my local
submask 192.168.0.48 .
There's no solution. Via internet your server gets the IP address from the
first pocket received via HTTP which is always a static one. How could he
possibly give you the local IP when it is not sent to him at all?
All you need is access your site via LAN.
as an idea: you could create a web page which would have a form where your
employees will fill in their email addresses and names, on the same page you
get their SID and record it all in the database. So the next time these
people will access your site you will know that they are YOURS and WHO
EXACTLY since no other computer had access to the page you were using to
record their SIDs.
But it's not too secure and easy way.
I just had the same dilemma nor even 2 weeks ago. - I gave up. Just made
them log in and write their emails in, in this way I was authenticated
emails from OUR domain name only.
Cheers!
