Try to just echo your variables by using:
echo($uname);
echo($password);
Make sure the target name is correct, maybe check case.
Your password field is hidden which means it is not shown,
for password you must use type="password"
If you want to use hidden types, you must give it a value,
otherwise it is just empty, use value="blablabla"
