Is that a cut & paste from the code, if so, shouldn't
if($uname="123456" && $passwd="654321")
read
if($uname=="123456" && $passwd=="654321")
I read the original if statement as:
set $uname to "123456" and set $passwd to "654321" then check that
both are non-zero.
