In an attempt to understand why the use of cookies for my session id
seems to get lost on the 5th of many pages I tried out the function.
For those of you wondering, yes the pages work fine using everything in
the URL but thats not a good thing for this application...
Anyways in the returning array I get the following in my error log
(where I've designated it to print):
[Mon Oct 30 12:04:53 2000] [error] login_redirect.php printing session
vars
[Mon Oct 30 12:04:53 2000] [error] Your session id is:
TICS=048c283459484090ad0e172b3a953508
[Mon Oct 30 12:04:53 2000] [error] cookie val lifetime is set to 0
[Mon Oct 30 12:04:53 2000] [error] cookie val path is set to /
[Mon Oct 30 12:04:53 2000] [error] cookie val domain is set to
[Mon Oct 30 12:04:53 2000] [error] cookie val secure is set to
[Mon Oct 30 12:04:53 2000] [error]
The question, what is the cookie value 'secure' and what is it used
for? It isn't mentioned on the manual reference page online. Any
ideas?
BTW please realize I'm not subscribed to the general list, but I am
reading the news group....
