NO, PHP gives you a page, JavaScript plays with it in your browser.
Instead you can under certain conditions output some JavaScript code which
automatically closes your browser. (However it usually re-asks you: The
window is trying close itself, do you allow it?).. Users hate it too.. why
not to avoid this solutions with some step-based navigation ?
