jpegs, gifs, and the PHP site

1/ The nice yellow boxes for searching and other uses on the main php site are great. BUT, I wish they'd disappear when the page is 'off clicked' from any link. 2/ When is the gif/gd compuserve patent going to expire so it can be included into php 4? 3/ is there an similar libraries for manipulationg jpegs? Please CC me, I am on the list, but I like individual replies as well. -- ________________________________________________________________ Dennis K.
