Hi there,
I'm involved in two projects that need to get done as soon as possible.
I'm looking for help in all the OpenSource community. Both software are
very powerful and a need for most people. If anyone would like to join
me, please answer to this message in PRIVATE, ok?
The two projects are as follow (they're very integrated).
PHPMailList
DESCRIPTION: A PHP Interface that should be able to manage templates,
create email bulletins that should be sent periodically to people in a
list. This project is using MySQL to save email information. PHPMailList
has lots of email functions in it. For example: it not only manage
templates of HTML or TXT email, but also does email-checking, and email
sending, all using PHP. Some Perl should also be used, so that the
software could be run on the server in a faster manner.
PHPNewsClipping
DESCRIPTION: THis is great, since I've already developed a function that
does most of the work here. This software should be able to grab news
from other websites, take all the information it can, save it in a
database and then work with this database. Parse the HTML looking for
specific text requires a small function (yet it's mathmatically
complicated). This is good since lots of websites would LOVE to have
news from other websites being put up in theirs automagically. I've
heard of a similar software called PHPChannel, only that it doesn't
parse HTML, as mine is suppose to do.
These softwares are suppose to be done in a month or less. The only
problem I'm having here is looking for some help. I could do it all
alone, but doing it all alone is not indicated, or else Linus would
still be developping the kernel alone and it wouldn't be this great,
right? :)
Anyway, if you're not in the mood to join me in these two projects
(which are integrated, since one could send a mail message with News
Clippings), please send me a message. If you're not interested, but know
of someone interested, please, pass this message ahead.
Thanks a lot for reading this.
