If anyone is interested in a VERY light, quick interpreted session handler, I uploaded my j-sessions 1.0.0-pre1 last night. I'm the only one that I know of that uses them, but it is so light and small, that you can read what it is doing and even implement your own based on mine. It is only cookie based. It is intentionally left BARE looking, so you can integrate your own HTML easily without cutting out a bunch of design that you don't need. I don't claim that it is production quality, you can decide yourself. You can find it here: http://www.nirvani.net/software/j-sessions-1.0.0-pre1/ Enjoy. -jeremy brand _______________________________________________________________________ GnuPG Fingerprint: 9F5E 95E0 1CC2 E054 84EA 6099 8ACD 9DBA D2C0 5EA9 _ http://www.JeremyBrand.com/Jeremy/Brand/Jeremy_Brand.html for more __ On Fri, 3 Nov 2000, Dean Hall wrote: > Date: Fri, 3 Nov 2000 16:37:31 -0600 > From: Dean Hall <hall@apt7.com> > To: Liebi <liebi@gulasch.de>, php-general@lists.php.net > Subject: Re: [PHP] sessions, php4 vs. phplib > > My bet is that PHP4 session-handling is much more efficient than phplib's, > since phplib's is in PHP, and PHP4's is compiled, not interpreted.
