I wrote a PHP-based "wrapper" for mySQL databases. It analyzes your
table structures and creates some PHP classes with basic "put/get" methods,
as well as a "save self to database" and a "load self from database" set of
methods. These are then extended into more specific classes, just using
the wrappers as a base. It's not cross-database or anything, but it's been
of good use to code against. Abstracts your database tables into easily
managed classes. =)
I'll see if the owner (I wrote it under contract to a company) will allow
me to
release it. If so, I'll post it to the lists and submit an article on
phpbuilder
for it. I can't find a whole lot of info on PEAR, so I'm just using this
for now.
Anyone have a site for PEAR info, or just the PEAR directory?
