Well I looked at Zope briefly (which made it's appearence to me on the BeOS list of all places) and it didn't impress me at all. Keep in mind that I didn't look to closely - all I saw was that it *appeared* to be programmed in Python and looked like it was mostly "programmed" from a web interface - this is what I gathered from looking at the "developer documentation". If I'm wrong PLEASE correct me! On the other hand PHP is a great programming languages based on all the good ideas of a few different languages. You have the power of C/C++, the scaler variables of Perl, PHP4 brought us good OOP, and many intelligent functions written FOR web programmers BY web programmers. NOTE TO RASMUS: Where are the GTK hooks? ;o) (I asked you this question at Linux World in San Jose and you said something to the affect that a guy at Zend was working on it) --Joe On Wed, Nov 08, 2000 at 09:25:22PM +0100, Vincent - D.
