RE: [PHP] php 4.0.3pl1 will not install with gd

Hi Chris, not sure if this will helpe but.... I recently compiled PHP4.03pl1 as a DSO. "./configure --with-mysql --with-apxs=/usr/local/apache_1.3.14" i have had problems with getting GD enabled in previous versions. and getting gif support, this time to my surprise GD compiled in by default with gif support. and have no trouble using it either. i am using RedHat 6.2 It seems by default compiling PHP4.03pl1 without enabliing it in the confgure step, has picked up the gd-devel 1.3-6 in /usr/include that comes with Red Hat. It says that it is not able to find libgd.(also). There are files named libgd.a and .so in the right directory. Wondering if I am over-looking something or if this is a bug. Any help appreciated.
