Shane,
I think this will do what you need. A combination of Javascript and PHP:
<script language="JavaScript">
<!--
function MM_openBrWindow(theURL,winName,features) { //v2.0
catwindow = window.open(theURL,winName,features);
}
//-->
</script>
<a href="#"
onClick="MM_openBrWindow('new_window.html','insertcategory','resizable=yes,w
idth=250,height=200,dependent=yes')">
Open New Window</a>
IN THE NEW SMALLER WINDOW:
<html>
<head>
</head><body>
<? if ($close_window) {
echo ("<script
language=\"JavaScript\">window.opener.document.location="http://redirectedto
.com/"; window.close();</script>");
exit;
}
?>
<form method="post" action="<? $PHP_SELF ?>" name="close">
****I'm not sure if you would need the hidden variable
<input type="hidden" name="close_window" value="yes">
<input type="submit" name="Submit" value="close_window">
</p>
</form>
</body>
</html>

Subject: [PHP] New Window and redirect...please help
I have a PHP script that opens an new smaller window. At a certain
point I want the user to click a button that closes the smaller
window, and redirect the original window to a new page.
Any ideas?
TIA,
Shane
