Use a frame with a width or height of 0 and have a form in it composed
entirely of hidden fields:
function myfunc()
{
top.frameName.formName.fieldName.value=newvalue;
top.frameName.formName.submit();
};
Have the script called return just "<html></html>" so that the browser
doesn't complain about no data, and away you go!
