Re: Alternate Development Platforms (Not really PHP related)

I personally use Linux for most (90%) of my development. Some of my time is spent on other machines - Solaris boxes and FreeBSD. I personally love Linux. It's stability is spoken for, there are TONS of apps, and the best thing is that since my provider runs linux I know that whatever I code will work once I upload it - same goes for work. FreeBSD is a lot like linux from a workstation standpoint - one problem is the lack of peripherial drivers for FreeBSD. I like to listen to music, etc. when I work - RH 7.0 was a breeze to install so I use that at home. I also like debian. But distro preference is like religion.
